A membership driven organisation with formal representative status at the United Nations, UNESCO and the Council of Europe, WAN-IFRA leads the global conversation about challenges and opportunities that matters to a free independent press. We do this in business reports, regional and international events, individual consulting services, advocacy campaigns, fundraising, and media development programmes. WAN-IFRA works with a team of 50 staff in Paris, Frankfurt, Chennai, Singapore, and Latin America.
