Social Service Worker

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

About

I am currently a Social Service Worker who works as an Intensive Case Manager with the Canadian Mental Health Association. I obtained this position after studying Social Service Worker-Gerontology at Seneca College in which I received High Honors Diploma and made the presidents list all semesters. Having worked as a Border Control Immigration Officer for over eighteen (18) years, I became aware of my passion for supporting and connecting with people from all areas of society. Additionally through my experience working as a Respite Support Worker I recognized how mental health and its complexities affect many people across all cultures. I am interested in working with seniors, marginalized people, people experiencing homelessness, mental health and addictions. I believe I can be a strong advocate and their voice of reason.
