HGC Noise Vibration Acoustics is one of the North America's largest consultancy firms specializing in consulting services to control noise, vibration and design for acoustics. We provide solutions to acoustical challenges for developers, operators, architects, planners, engineers, environmental consultants, governments, industry associations and the community at large.
EkolaGroup provides various environmental services to industries, governments, municipalities and comunities; it was founded by an acoustic engineer and its core services still include acoustic consultancy primarily focused on transportation infrastructure projects and environmental noise. During my time with Ekolagroup, I managed and led environmental noise assessments of large road and rail infrastructure projects, as well as the development of large scale noise maps, such as Strategic Noise Maps of Roads in the Czech Republic, and noise maps of the City of Prague. I conducted an analysis to identify "hot-spots", as part of the strategy of the European Union to manage noise pollution in the environment.
The Ministry of Health is the governmental body responsible for regulation of environmental noise in the Czech Republic. My role there involved resolution of noise complaints and disputed cases of noise assessments, as well as consultations in the process of updating existing national guidelines for environmental noise compliance.
