With 35 years in the game industry, Peter currently heads up Xbox Game Camp, a global program with a mission to empower people from all walks of life to realize their potential in the gaming industry. In prior roles Peter founded game studio UDS in Sweden in 1992 and later headed up Codemasters' (now Electronic Arts) talent acquisition and developer relations team between 2004 and 2007. Peter joined Microsoft in 2007 and spearheaded multiple 1st party console, phone and PC publishing deals in his first 10 years, including securing Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, and later, in 2014, instigated Microsoft’s acquisition of Mojang Studios.

Wanderword (USPTO granted patent 9583106) fuses the concept of a digital audio book with mechanics of non-linear storytelling allowing for non intrusive & effortless yet highly engaging, interactive experiences in which users use voice commands to control and influence the branching of a non-linear narrative. Using speech recognition (“SR”), speech-to-text (“StT”) and text-to-speech (“TtS”), Wanderword enables users to rely solely on acoustics for interaction.
Responsible for managing a team of business developers in identifying & securing publishing agreements and cultivating relationships with global development talent. As Games Consultancy Manager, my core responsibility was to build, manage and maintain the evaluation process for new and running projects and ensure through this process, that products tapped their full potential and met the expectations of an international audience on various platforms. Additionally, I managed the evaluation process of development outsourcing companies and external development studios.
As MD of publicly traded company Daydream, I was part of the leadership team that constructed an out-sourcing production/development model which resulted in a decreased financial burn-rate and fostered creative innovation. Secured 1st party publishing deal with project "Campfire", a Reverse-Survival-Horror game. Project was discontinued in 2004.
