Worked on the Bedrock team, responsible for everything that happens after hardware is racked and before it's running Dropbox software, from OS installation/provisioning, secrets, and the deployment system used by all of Dropbox's engineering teams.
Worked on Uber's home grown, graphite API compatible realtime software metrics + monitoring system, supporting 10mil datapoints/second of writes, backed at first by 700+ C* nodes in multiple clusters, then by our own custom timeseries-focused datastore.
Part of the team that scaled Vine through its period of 1.5x user increase week-over-week. Ran oncall rotation, responsible for monitoring and instrumentation, systems bringup automation, frontend reliability and response time, mysql maintenance and data migrations, helped put our analytics platform onto BigQuery, diagnosing and remediating P0 issues from the frontend through cache and persistence and networking layers, growth planning. Started migration to kubernetes-based containerization.
Oversaw uptime and maintenance of legacy Jambool product (Rails on AWS) as it was sunsetted over the course of a year. Moved to NYC, supported remote access and internal auth/auth systems including internal 2FA, moved to Build team supporting the internal backend of bazel.io.
