For the last 30+ years, I have been on the startup rollercoaster with 3 successful businesses (all bootstrapped) and lots of learnings along the way. To me, business (and life) is all about relationships, making a positive impact on others and having fun on the journey. At Smart Migrator (my 7th venture), I am leading an experienced team on a mission to help thousands of companies worldwide struggling with the very high cost and complexity of cloud migration and management. We are crafting a fully automated, smart platform that removes the barriers many are facing through a simple, fast, and affordable experience. As a subset of that, we recently developed a fully automated tool for a rapid and cost-effective migration from Oracle Java to Azul Platform Core (OpenJDK) - the leading open source alternative on the market. In Aug 2025, we relocated Smart Migrator from the UK to the US. I was also previously an adviser to the Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan (as a member of his Jobs and Skills Business Partnership), advising on improving access to skills and jobs for Londoners. Developed strong brand value & relationships with key major petrol forecourt customers including Lukoil, Petrol, Shell & Gazprom and leading retail chains including Praktiker, Mr Bricolage, METRO & Praktis. Since 2019, I no longer oversee day-to-day management but strategic decisions only, freeing time to focus on growing my other venture, Smart Migrator.
