Parma has worked on conservation projects for the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust, the Kohler Foundation, the United States Postal Service and Chicago Public Schools. Our laboratory has seen many upgrades, including the acquisition of a Leica M651 surgical microscope, a Hamamatsu C2741 vidicon camera for infrared imaging and a UX Universal medical x-ray unit. Parma is certified by the Illinois Division of Nuclear Safety to provide in-house radiography for paintings and objects. Recently, our x-ray equipment has been put to use searching for hidden relics in simulacrum statuary for St. John Cantius Church, Chicago, IL. Very fun! www.parmaconservation.com
