About

I am a Senior Photojournalist at Postmedia Network; providing visual storytelling provincially and federally to over 130 newspapers coast-to-coast. With more than three decades of prior journalism experience — including 17+ years at the Toronto Star and 8+ years at The Globe and Mail — I bring a journalist’s discipline and a strategist’s mindset to editorial, corporate and institutional storytelling. I also work with healthcare systems, educational institutions, industry associations, agencies, and manufacturers across Ontario to help organizations communicate with clarity, credibility, and human connection. I create: • Executive and environmental portraits • Documentary-style brand storytelling • Healthcare and institutional communications imagery • Industrial and manufacturing visuals • Short- and long-form video content Every assignment begins with research and clear objectives. I work closely with communications and marketing teams to produce visuals that strengthen brand identity, build trust, and support measurable outcomes. Clients value that I: • Work confidently in complex environments • Put people at ease quickly • Deliver consistently high production value • Understand both editorial integrity and brand strategy A selection of organizations I’ve worked with includes: Porter Novelli Canada, AFP FactStory, Chronic Mind, Clothesline Media, OurKids Media, Cleveland Clinic, Pine River Institute, Mercedes-Benz Canada, St. Joseph’s Health System, Kid’s Help Phone, CAMH, Trucking Human Resources Canada, Electricity Human Resources Canada, Canadian Energy Centre, Communitech, Gerdau Steel, MARS Canada, Canadian Geographic Magazine, National Post, Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, CBC, Canadian Press, Agence France Press, Associated Press Images, and Thomson Reuters. I have also taught visual journalism at Humber and Mohawk Colleges. Awards: Five-time Photographer of the Year; four National Newspaper Awards (nine nominations); recipient of the Governor General’s Michener Award for Public Service Journalism.
