Dear reader, I am a professional in the field of Research & Consultancy on work, organisation & management issues . My present challenges are innovation management, social innovation and workplace innovation. I am exploring: Effcts of Digital Transformation and new technology on organisation, required skills and team dynamics. I am driven by the question why innovations too often fail, especially, what are the antecedents and determining factors of failure, risk avoidance and defensive behaviour between people, and in teams. My focus of interest thus is on behavioural and organisational aspects. What I do is carrying out qualitative and quantitative research into topics mentioned; I help people in companies to improve the quality of performance and quality of jobs; I give lectures, presentations and workshops, and make tools; I manage [international] research projects; and I write about those topics as well and sometimes edit books and special issues of [scientific] journals. My personal drive is to ensure that your work remains challenging and in balance with the work load. This requires not only to look at the people, their jobs and teams. But also to examine how the work process is designed and managed. I combine a humanist view on work and productivity, anchored in a systems approach of organising.
