* Led BSR's Human Rights Advisory Services practice, supporting hundreds of global companies on implementing the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (#bizhumanrights) * Secretariat for BSR's Human Rights Working Group; Building Responsibly (www.building-responsibly.org); the Global Business Coalition Against Trafficking (www.gbcat.org); and Tech Against Trafficking. * Representative consulting projects include: - Drafting first-time human rights policies, codes of conduct, and company training materials - Embedding human rights in existing policy frameworks - Leading human rights training and capacity building workshops at companies - Conducting corporate and site-level human rights risk and impact assessments - Supporting companies to implement in-field process changes through capacity building, supplier engagement, stakeholder engagement, and development of impact management plans. * 5+ years of working experience in China, including implementing human rights capacity building, field-work projects, and supplier engagement. * Co-founder and facilitator of BSR’s Human Rights Working Group, a cross-sector working group of companies advancing understanding and implementation of the UN Guiding Principles. * Completed consulting projects in China, Myanmar, Laos, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, and Azerbaijan * Other project experience in stakeholder engagement, collaborative initiatives, grievance mechanism design and remedy assessment.
* Represented Fortune 500 clients in corporate litigation with a focus on intellectual property disputes. * Drafted legal research memoranda, court briefings, and pleadings for client-ready presentation.
* Published and edited articles in Business China on China’s economy, politics, and financial markets.
