Diligently supported clients and colleagues in the finance practice group to successfully close impactful finance deals across Africa and gained invaluable experience. These include the first green bond issuance programme in Kenya, advising an emerging African nation to draft and amend financial services laws to enhance her status in the global financial industry, and many cross-border finance deals. I also built quality and resourceful networks across the globe that I continue working with. I supported professional support lawyers in establishing and growing the knowledge resources for the banking and finance practice group. I also coordinated student traineeship programme offered by the firm and ensured the programme participants gained practical experience of working in a city firm.
