Knowledge Graph Database Infrastructure Team: - Architected scalable data infrastructure and developer platforms supporting Airbnb’s knowledge graph and search ecosystem, including real-time indexing systems, and large-scale backend event-driven streaming services. Led the design and delivery of a real-time integration platform between the knowledge graph and search backend, improving data freshness, indexing reliability, and cross-team onboarding efficiency across core search experiences. - Built internal AI-assisted developer toolings and automation workflows for large-scale graph systems, enabling self-service onboarding and auto-code generation while accelerating developer productivity and reducing manual operational overhead. Hotel Team: - Designed and built scalable machine learning infrastructure supporting large-scale hotel ranking and recommendation systems, including GPU resource management, training pipelines, offline and online feature processing, model registry and lifecycle management, and low-latency inference. - Served as tech lead for the team responsible for hotel inventory collection and dynamic pricing systems, ensuring fresh availability and competitive pricing at scale. Responsible for planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication, collaborating with supply team to optimize pricing and performance. - Drove the end-to-end development of the HotelTonight–Airbnb integration, leading architecture, planning, and cross-functional execution from concept to successful launch. Built a scalable real-time streaming pipeline to ingest hotel data and power Airbnb listings, significantly reducing publish latency while maintaining data integrity. - Supported team growth by contributing to onboarding and mentoring processes for new engineers.
Built an AI agent marketplace platform selected by the Berkeley SkyDeck and Antler startup incubator programs. Designed the agent orchestration layer — real-time agent-to-agent communication, long-running task execution with human-in-the-loop workflows, scheduling, persistent storage, and cost controls. Built the full backend and architected the agentic layer using OpenAI Agent SDK, LiteLLM, and Gemini — enabling multi-agent orchestration across a marketplace of 200+ agents and completed 300K+ agentic task executions.
Azure Kubernetes Service Team - Designed and optimized the tools and services to improve the engineering system of AKS. - Built the VM provisioning solution that minimized manual efforts and reduced the VM usage ratio by 25%. - Initiated canary-deployment strategy and automatic quality guard in the release pipeline to gain a safe and smooth release experience with 90%+ fewer manual interventions.
