Acting Director NAVSEA 03S Digital Industrial Operations
I conducted a complex assessment of global cybersecurity programs and consolidated them into a single, scalable program for local use. Here, I identified information security priorities and established global security programs in support of the unique requirements faced by the world’s largest pure-play Fire, Safety, and Security company. I directed and led efforts on centralizing different security programs into a share services methodology by adopting an “Expert’s model” approach. I also hired and allocated experts in each of the security services and reduced redundant services. Led project teams of up to 25 professionals. ➥ I managed a global matrix team with members in Australia, China, Germany, India, Ireland, Singapore, UK, and US. ➥ I implemented a single cybersecurity model and eliminated deficiencies; designed and implemented global changes for a centralized service; oversaw all procurement. ➥ I managed several projects simultaneously, with a total value of $16M. ➥ I identified an appropriately secured and equipped location in Ireland and moved the data center within 90 days – ahead of time and of budget. ➥ I led Tyco’s RFPs and RFIs process around Tyco’s first-ever global security architecture blueprint. ➥ My process improvement initiatives included establishing new capabilities, drafting a multi-year budget, developing Incident Response Process, and designing a strategic workforce planning process for accurate workforce forecasting.
