As a member of the Global IT Management Team reporting to the group CIO, I lead the Corporate Solutions with a team of 75 professionals and an annual budget of 10+ million euros. During an intensive period of a transitioning company from Private Equity owned, an IPO and change of ownership by a family owned company. In addition to our operational tasks, I played a key role in developing the relationship between IT and our senior management for corporate functions and contributing to CEVA's global strategy. Together with the Mergers & Acquisitions team, we successfully guided eight takeovers. This contributed to a tremendous revenue growth and a doubling of our staff in 3 years. In terms of diversity and inclusivity, we improved the male-to-female ratio from 90/10 to 60/40. The absenteeism rate within the team has dropped to less than 3%, and turnover is just 4%, significantly lower than the industry average of 8%. By partially relocating the team to countries with lower wages, we were able to achieve a cost reduction of 35% while retaining expertise.
As the manager of a team of 35 IT professionals across 10 countries, I was responsible for 85 business-critical applications for the departments of Business Development, Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Compliance. My team developed and implemented application strategies for each business function to optimally support the processes. I was also in charge of the annual external audit of IT General Controls for operational integrity and compliance. The BI & Reporting team managed and developed about 450 dashboards and 15,000 reports, and I introduced Robotic Process Automation, which led to a productivity increase of up to 150%. Active participation in industry events such as Eye for Transport and the Oracle User Group supported keeping up with trends and building valuable relationships.
I was responsible for implementing JD Edwards Financials in 57 countries. As a result, our diverse accounting systems were streamlined into one uniform system, significantly improving the efficiency and consistency of our financial processes. By developing a strategic finance application roadmap, in close collaboration with our financial management team, the system remained current and was able to keep up with growth. With a team of 15 professionals across 4 countries and a budget of a few million euros, I also managed relationships with suppliers and implementation partners
Operating my own IT consultancy company contributing mostly to the companies Solon and Quistor.
Quistor is an International JD Edwards Consultancy & Support, Custom Content provider with offices (at the time) in The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Central Europe (Prague), France (Paris), Italy (Milan). We are a global partner of Oracle. The combination of Quistor and Oracle offers customers fully-fledged, Managed & Outsourced Solutions at the best total cost of ownership in the marketplace. I was one of the people at the start of the company, building an international recognised Oracle Partner in a few years. In my role as client manager I was responsible for several of our customers for the full portfolio of services we delivered. I also contributed to the company growth by being responsible for all the IT infrastructure within Quistor.
