Developing a wide range of opto-electronic and imaging systems, from idea to concept to prototype, for industrial clients and EU projects. Daily work includes project management, concept ideation, requirements and specifications definition, optical and mechanical design, building test setups and prototypes, lab measurements, device calibration and data analysis, project acquisition, offer preparation.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, developed exciting new products with focus on reality capture and HDR imagery. Developed HDR imaging pipeline, camera calibration, image processing algorithms, automatic exposure and WB functionalities and sharpness QA test for the multi-camera imaging system of the Leica BLK360 laser scanner.
Gained experience in the area of terrestrial laser scanning, imaging, product management, point cloud processing and SW: application and prototype testing for laser scanning, image quality evaluation, patent monitoring. Developed main ideas, concepts, specifications, graphical and UX designs for first version of the Leica Cyclone Field 360 mobile app.
