I am an open-minded designer formally trained in architecture and mathematics, apprenticed in woodworking, self-taught in many other subjects, and passionate about how things work and exploring creative ways to put them together. I have many years experience in design across multiple specialties including: education, single & multi-family residential, historic preservation, healthcare, municipal, commercial office, and retail. I am passionate about designing at all levels of scale in a building to create a uniquely refined and effective solution. I believe multi-disciplinary collaboration can develop a well-rounded and uniquely innovative design. I am always looking at traditionally unrelated fields for the next piece of inspiration.
