I am an engineer with a passion for architecting and developing embedded systems. I hold a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering, with over 16 years of experience in hardware, software, and systems engineering. Over those years I have planned projects, architected systems and software, developed hardware and software, and led multiple teams.
I lead a global team of over 300 engineers working out of the US, Canada, Mexico, and India. We develop and test the software for the Zonal modules in Ford's Software Defined Vehicle architecture.
Responsible for the thermal management, and other safety systems, on all BlackBerry handheld devices Architected software features for thermal and power systems Planned and managed projects Lead a team of developers and testers
Was responsible for the thermal management of handheld devices Simulated algorithms and systems in MATLAB Provided statistical analysis of massive data sets Coordinated activities between multiple teams and departments
Developed OS software for BB7 and BB10 handheld devices. Worked on drivers, thermal management, and power optimization. Member of the product delivery team for Bold 9900/9930 and P’9981.
Created FPGA and microcontroller based embedded systems. Developed software using C, Assembly, and Java languages. Digital logic design using VHDL. Designed, fabricated, and assembled PCBs. Designed mixed-signal systems.
Digital design of next generation packet switches. Implementation in FPGA based embedded systems. C programing of Altera NIOS II soft-core processors.
