More than thirty years of work experience with a focus on strenghtening democratic governance, international education, human security and civil society. Able to provide flexible and responsive leadership, navigate complex social, cultural or political environments, formulate strategic advice and develop and manage an organization, a program or a project, including human and financial resources. Particularly worked on international education, civil society capacity building, good governance, conflict prevention, security sector reform, human rights, anti-corruption and accountability issues. Proven team-building, coaching, networking, communication, facilitation, advocacy, writing, fundraising and evaluation skills. A multi-lingual practitioner, with a substantive record of publications. Worked in over thirty countries. Has a background in Asia studies and is specialized in Southeast Asia and in particular Indonesia, with more than fifteen years living in-country.
