My career began as an engineer, laying the foundation for my love and understanding of the intricate workings of motor vehicles. This technical background has been pivotal to my subsequent roles within the BMW Group. My leadership roles encompass local and international spheres, with experience in Sales, Marketing, After Sales and Sales Channel Development. My multi-cultural management experience in Europe, Asia and Africa has contributed to the growth and success of the BMW Group in various capacities. In my current roles here in South Africa I am thrilled to be a part of both future-proofing our industry, and its contribution to our economy, and driving transformation. In this non-executive director position, I work with the Directorate and the CEO of the Southern African German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, striving to better business relations between Germany and Southern Africa and thereby also contribute to the local economy and ultimately job creation.
As a board member of naamsa, representing the manufacturing OEMs in South Africa, this non-executive role allows me to be a part of future-proofing the local automotive industry through collaborating with Business, Labour and Government for the greater good of the South African economy - our ultimate goal is securing the future of our industry during this critical time of transformation.
Leading BMW South Africa business for the BMW Group. BMW Group South Africa includes a Sales subsidiary, a Manufacturing plant, a Financial Services company and an IT and Innovation hub.
Head of the Global Aftersales Business Unit of the BMW Group. Responsibilities include; Aftersales Strategy, Sales and Marketing for Parts and Service, Parts Logistics, Technical Services, Training and Powertrain Sales.
Head of the German Sales Subsiary for the BMW Group. Covering Sales, After Sales, Marketing, Financials and Retail Network Development for BMW and MINI in the home market of the BMW Group.
Responsible for Sales, Marketing, Dealer Development, Training, CRM and Aftersales at BMW Brilliance Automotive in China.
