The role of Executive Board Member for Sponsoring/ Marketing includes the budget planning, controlling, communication with sponsors and assistance of the professional sport team EIGNER ANGELS (www.eigner-angels.de) in the 1st Bundesliga in Women Basketball in Germany. From March 2020 onwards this role has been expanded and includes the steering of a proffesional sports organisation through the various challenges that the global corona pandemic represented. The constant adjustments to ever changing circumstances, information and new situation are the main challanges, while at the same time keeping focussed on a regular season and keeping staff and players motivated at the same time. Further to this the role deals with the coordination of volunteers and communication with the local media partners to promote home games and the professional women sports. Regular Meetings are held with representatives of all 1st league clubs to decide the strategic direction of professional women sports in Germany and the 1. Bundesliga in Women Basketball in particular.
