I'm currently the Chief Executive Officer at First International Bank & Trust (FIBT), a full-service community bank with locations across four states – North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Arizona. FIBT has been serving customers since 1910 and has grown to more than $5 billion in assets. I was born and raised in Watford City, North Dakota and am a fourth-generation community banker. I first joined FIBT as a teller in 2000 and have since served in many departments ranging from Credit Review to Commercial Banking. Before being named CEO, I held the positions of Chief Retail Banking Officer, Fargo Market Manager, and President. In addition to my current role, I’m also a director of Watford City Bancshares, Inc. and a member of the FIBT Board of Directors and Strategic Planning Committee. Over the years, I’ve also been involved in several entrepreneurial ventures, including Alati Energy, Stenehjem Holdings, Stonehome Brewing Company, Outlaws Bar & Grill, and JL Beers.
