Assume project lead roles in the deployment of the “Global PO Collaboration” initiative, which shifts the distribution and negotiation of purchase orders to Asian suppliers. Serves as team member on the WSI transition team to assist with the agent transition to own Williams-Sonoma Group Offices around Asia. Served 2 month internship at Connor Singapore in 1986 on back-office functions (logistics and book keeping). After Bachelor’s degree in mid of 1987, was offered position of Executive Assistant. Began back-office computerizaton project.Gained promotion to Administration Manager by end 1988. In 1990s, tasked to do a “Connor Singapore office” of the back-office setup in the many of the then new Connor offices in Asia. With internal staff movement of immediate superior to assume the Regional Director role in November 1996, gained promotion to post of General Manager Connor Singapore.
