▪ Broking Officer Responsibilities: Relationship leader for key insurer partners for the Central Region. Responsible for escalation to insurer management on challenging accounts for Central Region. Lead and assist in new business opportunities across the country. Manage communication across the country with regional counterparts to ensure the national broking team is aware of challenges and successful strategies being utilized. ▪ Broker Responsibilities: Senior Broker responsibilities remain on book of business for large, CAT exposed and complex domestic and global property placements.
- Strategic and operational analysis: Collaborated with Global Operations team and other Aon Broking leaders to execute projects related to Aon Brokings’ core strategic priorities; work included team problem solving, requirements gathering and creation of executive level briefing documents. - Web design/development: Developed a suite of SharePoint based collaboration sites that allowed Aon Broking to produce, maintain and share data and documents with other internal Aon organizations in support of strategic goals. - Research: Performed detailed primary research on insurance carriers; targeted insights included carrier financial performance, summary of Aon business relationships and company strategy and priorities. - Industry and operational analysis: Performed strategic and financial research on Aon and its main insurance brokerage competitors to develop a point of view on use of contingent commissions across the industry.
