Telco SME for small team building proprietary consolidated invoicing and reporting system for the Victorian government’s voice communication needs (VOTS). More recently: Engaged internal Power B.I. specialist for implementation of first dashboard for facilitating resolution of invoicing anomalies. Payment of approved carrier charges and processing rejected payments to be disputed (or approved). Liaising with approved carriers regarding accounts payable matters. Primary escalation-point for both customers and service delivery team regarding carrier billing and reporting concerns. Developing formulas and templates to expedite resolution of customer queries. Ongoing traffic monitoring, and reporting, towards customer cost savings. Achievement: Provided cost savings, in the range of $1K to $10k per month, for the Victorian Government by successfully disputing carrier charges within carrier invoices.
Managing call accounting systems for Phoneware’s bureau clients e.g. Electronic Data Systems. Production of monthly private network "consumption-based charging" for Coles Myer business units. Traffic analysis and reporting. Management of sub-projects and then subsequent on-going reporting. Achievement: Overcame a long term fault, for a high profile CBD customer, by taking an holistic approach.
PTO 2 role: Responsible for reception, collation, co-ordination and implementation of data changes affecting all Melbourne CBD switching equipment. Multiple positions - started with Telstra as a apprentice (in 1978). Achievement: Reduction of Melbourne CBD telephone network outages by building up, empowering and corralling a revolving team of staff from across the CBD.
