Co-Director (Jobsharing) eco.ch: - Co-Lead of Head Office of the association eco.ch. eco.ch is a sustainability network of more than 20 member organizations such as the federal office for the environment, the canton Basel-Stadt or WWF Switzerland; - Creating budgets and project controlling; - Facilitation of members assembly and workshops with member organizations from all over Switzerland; - Project development; - Fundraising with public and private donors and sponsors and budget responsibility; - Lead a small team.
Director eco.festival: Organization and management of the eco.festival, Switzerland’s biggest public sustainability event - Project management and planning of a 3 day public sustainability event; - Lead event coordinator through the implementation of the event; - Dealing and negotiating with partners from Swiss NGOs, governmental authorities and financing organizations; - Acquisition and of exhibitors related to sustainability, fair trade and organic products; - Managing the different interests of various stakeholders; - Conception and management of a diverse and attractive festival programme; - Development of side projects on sustainable development; - Conceptualize new strategies and projects promoting sustainable development.
Project manager: sustainable mitigation of food losses using clay pot coolers - Preliminary planning and conception of the three-month project stay; - Leading an international team of four; - Optimization of the production steps of the clay pot cooler; - Foundation of a local “social business” to finance the independent long-term distribution of the clay pot cooler; - Conception and implementation of clay pot cooler workshops to ensure know-how transfer to local pottery makers; - Creation of information materials in various languages to transfer accumulated knowledge to local partners and online to interested parties.
Student assistant in the management of environmental and development cooperation projects: - Support in project acquisition and preparation of proposals; - correspondence with international experts; - Registration of experts and organizations in an internal database, - Travel management for colleagues and experts; - In person deliveries of tenders to Haiti and Morocco.
Temporary assistant at eco.ch fair and conference in Basel. - Different tasks to during the implementation of the eco.ch fair and congress. Leading visitors through exhibitions, giving information at welcome desk, mounting and dismounting of event infrastructure.
