- Implementing HR strategic and operational policies to ensure efficient and effective management of country business unit. - Creating and maintaining country HR organization - Ensuring appropriate policies, contracts, and processes are developed and that changes are agreed where necessary with the Works Council. - Responsibility for the development of HR policy specific to Slovakia and its involvement in HR policy development for group. - Leading the development, implementation and monitoring of key service commitments in line with business and customer requirements. - Ensuring management and development of staff to provide the right mix of skills and abilities to meet current and future requirements. - Ensuring delivery of people management processes to foster high levels of employee engagement and commitment. - Member of the Slovakian management team and a member of the East Europe HR Team. - Ensuring that Internal / External resourcing practices are managed appropriately and that all group requirements are adhered to. - Responsibility for the effective management of Employee Relations within the business. - Responsibility for the effective management of appropriate compensation and benefits practices within the business, consistent with group policies and procedures. - Cooperation with line and HR colleagues to manage Organisational change / development processes - Application of legally compliant contractual changes and departmental administration relating to HR practices and procedures. - Support in the annual budgeting cycle regarding personnel costs and compliance of HR organizational budget
