I work at the intersection of technical complexity and commercial direction. At Novo Nordisk, scientific rigour and a data-driven approach brought specialist R&D closer to development decisions in GMP/GLP environments. Leading and scaling a SailGP racing team taught me the reverse: turning strategic direction into actionable specialist work, under real stakes, with full responsibility for performance, operations, and a multi-million-euro budget. Data systems run through both, and I increasingly build and apply AI, including agentic systems, to turn complexity into decisions. This is where I thrive: I don't just translate at this intersection, I operate from inside it. Next: bringing this to life sciences, where technical depth and commercial decisions still sit too far apart.
Took over the team in its early form and ran it for five years, with full responsibility across performance, operations, data, and technology. • Designed and ran the data and analytics platform: sensor-data ingestion, physics-based interpretation, and live race-strategy outputs supporting real-time tactical decisions. • Managed 15–20 athletes and specialists; owned the multi-million-euro budget; led performance strategy. • Translated performance analysis into ROCKWOOL executive conversations on strategy, budget, and direction, bridging team reality with leadership priorities. Result: 4th overall in 2024, performing above our budget and experience benchmarks.
Nearly five years across CMC analytical work (method development, biophysical investigation, and digitalisation of laboratory processes), operating where technical work meets development decisions in GMP/GLP-regulated environments. • Translated biophysical and analytical findings into CMC development decisions, from early discovery through Phase 2. • Selected for a 5-person CMC digitalisation task force; mapped lab and data processes with practitioners to find automation opportunities. • Built review-automation and data-pipeline tools, including an MFI review tool that auto-submitted ~90% of routine results, freeing analyst capacity for the hard 10%. • Led biophysical task-force investigations that unblocked drug-development projects when no single team could close the problem alone.
