Berlin Metropolitan Area
I have worked for more than 25 years on the interface between research / innovation and private enterprise. My tasks have been to communicate to companies, international organisations in the UN world and to NGOs what large research programmes have to offer. This work largely has been one of translating and managing stakeholders in countries of the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa. Over this time I have become an expert in strategic communication. For this it has been instrumental to understand systems of economic development, social interaction, political constraints, and cultural heritage and change. Presently I also support start-ups in Berlin and Frankfurt and I am starting new work as coach and consultant for profit and non-profit companies. In all this the content and targets of my work always had to do with sustainability, i. e. with the supply of (drinking and irrigation) water, energy systems and renewables, use and sustainable management of soil, and with climatic change - or rather - the constraints which the ongoing climate crisis, the world is experiencing, is bringing to all these topics.
