Project: ALCAZAR 4*+64.033 MWp Solar PV Power Plant Achievements/tasks: • Troubleshoot daily project system issues (Inverter Stations, Trackers, Weather Stations, SCADA & Switch Boxes) to meet uptime goals. • Understand hourly production output targets and if there is any danger of not meeting them, execute a plan for correction or elevation of the situation. • Perform routine maintenance (PMs, start-up tests, etc.) on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed before elevating the problems to Operations & Maintenance Manager. • Identify potential problems and suggest changes or corrective actions. • Work with other members of the maintenance team, sub-contractors and other groups to continuously improve system performance, drive product quality and maintenance cost improvement. • Diagnose and troubleshoot various project systems issues such as inverters, Trackers, transformers, breakers, RMUs, communications equipment, SCADA, Weather Stations, etc. • Follow the maintenance schedules and conduct machine preventative maintenance. • Provide machine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting training to operators, technicians and Junior O&M Engineers as needed. • Assist in developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and training. • Assist with project commissioning and testing providing knowledge expertise. • Oversee and Supervise sub-contractors. • Adhere to all health and safety rules and company policies. • Conduct other duties as required.
Project: ALCAZAR 4*+64MWp Solar PV Power Plant Achievements/tasks: • Perform equipment testing including but not limited to: I-V curve testing, insulation testing (megger testing), torque tests, thermal imagery, Weather Stations and system performance evaluations. • Perform Cold Commissioning for Central Inverters and assure that the software parameters are adjusted according to the Grid code. • Monitor system performance and alerts through SCADA, identify and perform actions needed to resolve issues and clear alerts • Inspecting PV plant equipment for compliance with the NEC. • Schedule and perform site visits and inspections after project completion.
Project: ALCAZAR 4*+64MWp Solar PV Power Plant Achievements/tasks: • Supervise on Mechanical works & was a part of Mechanical commissioning team. • Inspects the physical works carried out by teams to ensure the quality of all construction. • Ensure compliance of projects with Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations. • Reviews engineering documentation from contractors. • Supervision on the Mechanical installation of Solar PV Plant for the projects. • Assure of installation quality according to vendors instructions. • Responsible for the performance on site, management of contractors involved and coordination with the rest of project team. • Manage and report on progress. • Supporting the Mechanical Project Manager. • Assist Electrical commissioning team then I joined the Inverters commissioning team to follow up with the inverter’s performance, availability, retrofits, failures and parts replacements.

* Expert Mission to conduct site selection and discuss pumping system for design of solar pump for Maasai project. * To conduct survey and site selection and discuss solar pumping system design with counterpart for Maasai community. * To visit local market to see if possible to get some or all components and tools from Nairobi. * To submit a written report "End-of-Mission Report" to the hiring Division in the Agency within three weeks of completion of the assignment.
