I have been active in the Quality Systems that follow ISO 9001, AS9100, Military, FAA and many customer contract specifications. Acted as a focal point and leader for all quality related matters. Directed QA/QC activities to ensure maximum quality and effectiveness. Worked in coordination with other departments in implementing the quality standards and benchmarks. Developed matrices and benchmarks of quality standards, directed toward improving performance of departments. Perform and supervise personnel for a wide range of inspection duties that include receiving, in-process and final inspections of components, subassemblies and final assembled product. Firsthand knowledge of first article requirements associated with AS9102 requirements. Supplier control toward quality goals and objectives.
Performed a variety of inspection tasks to determine compliance that included, the inspection of parts, sub-assemblies, or finished products using standard physical means and/or mechanical or electrical testing equipment. Recorded product inspection results, completed documentation, and performed data entry and transactions after completion of inspection. Gathered and documented results behind rejection of inspected product along with reasons for which the rejection was necessary.
