Upon reaching retirement age and with no internal successor, the company — with 470 FTE and 350 powered units — was sold to Vos Logistics in Oss. Vos Logistics, a strategic partner with whom a strong collaboration had already been initiated, was a natural fit to continue the company’s growth and operations.
I led the strategic turnaround of the international transport company G.SNEL into a top Benelux Logistics Service Provider and bought the company in 2010 from the UBS bank in Switzerland. By focusing on B2B warehousing and distribution, we positioned the company as a leader in the Benelux market, now expanding into B2C deliveries.
