As an independent expert I provide support to our suppliers to: - Identify risks and improvement opportunities, in ramping their production capacity, - Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement Lean methodologies to eliminate waste and improve productivity driving continuous improvement, operational excellence and reducing the cost of non-quality. - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, analyze data, and implement corrective actions where needed. - Use tools like PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), A3 reports, and Six Sigma methodologies to diagnose and resolve operational issues. - Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain improvements and ensure long-term sustainability of Lean practices.
Being the supplier quality interface to prevent and minimize supplier part related disturbances in the ASML factory and at ASML customers during the New Product Introduction within D&E Ensure Supplier Readiness to identify gaps and risks prior to first product delivery, drive preventive improvement activities. Technical liaison between purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Suppliers to resolve pre and post production quality issues. Enable On-time shipment with ZERO Defects Work with suppliers on improving quality processes as well as determine root-cause of any quality issue utilizing 8D, 5X WHY and other Six-Sigma tools to develop and implement a corrective action plan. Internal and external stakeholder communication to drive continuous improvement and process efficiency.
- Create and implement work processes to support D&E department - Provide on departmental I level insight into the quality status of the set targets and report this to the Group Leaders. - Define and execute quality improvement actions. - Initiate improvements in Way of Working within projects. (Project reviews)
- Guide and support development activities throughout the product generation process of complete printing machines and modules. This was done from product definition into product installation at the customer. - Make choices and take decisions on technical difficulties. - Provide support to manufacturing and service organisation - Provide on-side training to customers - Keep in touch with world wide customers and suppliers on performance and technical issues. - Enlarge knowledge of new printing technologies by attending Seminars Exhibitions and training. - Process development for new printing technologies
- characterize new lithographic processes for the so called Mega Chip project from Philips. - Investigate the appropriateness of new technologies / developments (inspection methods, Coating en development processes, litho equipment etc.) - Qualify new technologies / development with use of SPC - Operational lead over process operators - Analyze, solve and report issues
