I currently lead the Energy Transition Business Development team within Centrica's Global LNG Trading business, focusing on development of new market entry strategies and origination activities for new products in order to build new revenue streams for the business. Currently focused on building new businesses in LNG Bunkering, Bio LNG and Responsibly Sourced Gas. Previously focused on building a new business in Low Carbon Ammonia. For a short period in 2025 I also acted as Chief of Staff for the business, supporting the EVP, Global Head of LNG on strategy development and enablement alongside my business development responsibilities. I report to the EVP, Global Head of LNG and am a member of the LNG Leadership Team.
I led the Group Commodity Management team responsible for managing the commercial interface between Centrica's Energy Marketing & Trading Business Unit ("EM&T") and other parts of Centrica, notably the hedging of the British Gas commodity portfolio (c.£10bn Gas and Power transacted per annum) including delivery of optimisation P&L and management of weather and shape risk. I reported to the MD EM&T and was a member of the EM&T Leadership Team. I designed and implemented a major change to the way that Centrica manages Gas & Power commodity risk across multiple Business Units.
I was responsible for all aspects of Strategy for the business including strategic planning, enabling commercial growth, enabling business governance (for example acting as Secretary to the EM&T Leadership Team), delivering special projects and maintaining competitor intelligence. I shaped and led EM&T's Transformation Programme following the acquisition of Renewables PPA specialist NEAS Energy A/S which doubled EM&T in size and moved EM&T onto a pan-European footing. The programme delivered against three main objectives; 1) defining the new combined growth strategy across LNG, Gas and Power Trading and Renewables PPAs; 2) post-merger integration; 3) driving cost synergies to achieve industry benchmark cost/income ratio.
