Computing has always interested me from a young age and so it was only natural that I wanted to pursue it as a career. After first encountering programming at college I knew that this was where I what I would be working with one day. When applying for university I decided to combine two of my enthusiasms by studying computer games programming. This provided with a good understanding of general programming practices and techniques whilst also introducing me to more specialized concepts such as 3D graphics and physics engines. Whilst at university I spent a year as a software tester working from Instem LSS where I was responsible for picking through software with great scrutiny in order to find faults. This was also my first experience at working in a computing based industry and reaffirmed my desire to work in computing as a career. After completing my final year at University I began working for Ukash as a Support Developer. Here my roles include identifying and resolving faults in an internal website, offering technical support to other departments and participating in testing.
