As a Managing Consultant and Design Director at PA Consulting, I focus on product leadership, market analysis, and leading transformational change. My work is rooted in service, product, and experience design, with a mission to deliver human-centred digital transformation across sectors, particularly in health and life sciences. Alongside this, I have been providing design direction for the creation of their design capability and design system.
Working in the British Gas Design System team, delivering world class, accessible experiences for all customers. Collaborating across product teams to help educate and increase adoption across the digital real estate. Championing user-centred design (UCD), bringing universal and inclusive design to British Gas customers. Identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience, increase efficiency and reduce technical debt.
- Brought onboard to help deliver Billings and Payment journeys to British Gas customers - Employing design thinking to leading the research, design and testing approach with in the Billings and Payments product team. - Using usability, A/B & multi-variant testing. I work as a Contract UX Design Consultant, helping companies deliver better digital experiences for their customers.
Worked onsite at BMW HQ, managing the agency team, working with BMW Digital Marketing on their digital strategy and output. Recruited, mentored and managed the team which included designers, content managers and copywriters. Oversaw all design, analysis and improvement for the national BMW websites. Concept, UX and design of a brand new, scalable component led, fully responsive website. Championing user-centric design using data and validation. Employing engagement measurements and analysis such as conversion optimisation, session replays and heatmapping. Conducting surveys and questionnaires, stakeholder interviewing, mental modelling and using analytics, A/B & usability testing. Creating personas, user flows, journey maps and running workshops and card sorting exercises.
Promoted to lead the team onsite at BMW. Helping prioritise a working backlog. Recruiting, onboarding and managing new staff. Helping to direct the digital strategy for BMW UK.
My role was to work directly with the BMW Marketing team to help manage, develop and improve the UK desktop and mobile experiences. I worked with our planning and digital strategy team to redevelop the mobile experience in 2016.
