Ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while complying with any internal and external requirements. In addition, developing and maintaining relationships with carriers, customers, and warehouses to guarantee the timely delivery of shipments. • Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments on a daily basis • Accurate and timely data entry into the system • Effective communication with customers, vendors, other OEC offices, and co-workers through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls and verbal contact • Monitoring of reports on a daily basis • Accurate and timely billing to customers • Maintaining strong and effective relationships with vendors (shipping lines, trucking companies, etc.) • Meeting key performance indicators to support the department, branch, product and overall company goals • Clear understanding of the operational process flow and constantly seeking improved ways for efficiency • Reporting workflow progress to Management on a frequent basis. • Attending mandatory training classes as needed
• Promotes and sells DHL ACG services to meet sales targets and generate revenue • Responds to customer needs and requirements with the appropriate DHL ACG service • Maintains a high-level of customer service with existing customers and leverages relationships to expand business • Develops relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads • Responsible for accurate payload prediction by coordinating with HUB/CFS and Flight Operations • Plan and Organizes load factors including anticipation of aircraft fuel needs and other requirements • Act as a close link between the aircraft in flight and the ground services and also between aircrew and ground handling agent's staff • To ensure the aircraft is loaded correctly within the set limitation and in accordance to FAR's • Inspects ULD Serviceability as well as air worthiness of the aircraft by performing checks • Line Flights Coordination and Supports Package Flow changes and DATA • Reviews and monitor the space allocation on all line flights for the outbound volume • Contributes to prevent service failures as well as other contingency planning process • Demonstrates a complex knowledge of Air Operation tools and equipment • Analyzes weather conditions as well as other factors to determine the impact on flight arrivals • Directly involved on all billing verification process related to line flights and daily reports and ramp figures • Plans and complete work with thoroughness, giving attention to detail as well as record keeping. • Execute Administrative functions in the Ramp Operations including DHL Flight Operations systems • Responds to adhoc/peak planning requests and coordinates with Network Planning Group • Validates and Monitors Common Carriage rates and improvement of Flows and Data
• Coordinating with Airlines, Shipping Lines and various freight forwarders on competitive rates and space for shipment sent through Air, Sea & Land • Preparing Import & Export documents as per customs regulations • Responsible for arranging customs clearance for Sea & Air cargo and also for all customs document related to claiming duty deposits with the local customs • Follow up with airlines & Ground handling agents for the uplift and status reports of shipments • Worked in Air, Ocean, Road Courier Operations departments • Responsible for Pre-flight planning and advanced booking • Providing the customer information in a timely, clear & concise manner
