Peter Dunn brings some 25 years of public service to his current responsibilities, during which he represented the Quebec government in New York, Alberta, British Columbia, and Toronto. Mr. Dunn holds a Bachelor's degree from Bishop's University, and a Master's degree from the University of Toulouse. Peter Dunn currently serves as a trustee of Lakefield College School, Pearson College, Bishop’s University Foundation, and the Canadian Friends of the College of the Bahamas. Mr. Dunn chairs the family holding company, Holdun Investments Inc.
Holdun has a proud heritage that can be traced back to Sir Herbert Holt, arguably one of the most successful businessmen in Canadian history. During the height of his power, the Irish industrialist controlled some 300 companies on three continents worth an estimated $3 billion at the time. He increased the Royal Bank of Canada's assets fifteen-fold during his 26-year reign as the president of the bank. At Holdun, we are one of the select few Wealth Management companies that actually manages our own family money alongside that of our clients, and we invest our client's money as we do our own. Since we are a client as well, our goals and objectives are perfectly aligned with those of our other investors. We therefore only propose investments which we have thoroughly researched and would be comfortable investing our own family money in. Our mission is to assist all of our clients, like we do for our own family, in growing their assets, protecting existing wealth and preparing the next generation for the responsibilities they will assume in the future.
