Program Director Advanced Research Program Agency - Energy (ARPA-E) 1. Technology Strategist & Program Development: I evaluating energy technology areas and perform rigorous technical due diligence to unearth untapped "moonshot" opportunities that can lead to transformative new technology trajectories. 2. Program Development: I spearhead the development of transformational programs in these forward-looking domains, develop financial opportunities for "ARPA-E hard" challenges and managing the selection process to award the best proposals and teams. 3. Portfolio management: I provide stewardship for multiple programs and lead a dedicated team in conducting regular technical due diligence. This effort is geared towards establishing a robust framework that accelerates the likelihood of success, propelling us toward our unique and transformative sustainable energy technology objectives. Special focus areas: decarbonized hybrid/electric Aviation/transportation and Efficiency of Electronic systems such as Data Centers.
High density AI and electrification of everything requires a higher level of connection between Energy and Cooling. I look forward to lead synergistic Energy- Cooling technologies at Eaton - the intelligent power management company.
Managing $120+M in diverse transformational technology programs. I feel privileged to support, guide and review the work from many great teams and support them to make the world a more sustainable space. Core areas; Sustainable Aviation (ASCEND, PRE-TRAILS), Data Center Cooling (COOLERCHIPS) and advanced concepts (OPEN21).
Develop strategic roadmap and coordinate research in the areas of GE Aviation engine Power and Thermal Management Systems
Developing innovative thermal solutions and roadmaps for GE's Aero-Thermal Organization with applications for GE Aviation engines and systems(commercial, military and UAS), conventional and renewable power and healthcare.
Leading $2MM/yr advanced Thermal Research program for Mil/Aero Applications. Bringing technology from invention to product-ready (TRL6). Application to commercial, military and UAS systems. Close collaboration with GE Aviation businesses and Aerospace customers.
Independently championed and developed novel measurement technique for vibration modes of hearing aid receiver membranes. Identified critical performance limitations and developed innovations resulting in increased wide-band range for MEMS receiver product line.
Independent researcher and exchange student at University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Demonstrated ability of 2D Machine Vision and control using analog circuitry.
