• Maintaining and updating of joint venture plant and material register. • Management of all plant brought on site, this includes maintaining plant list, recording of plant certificates. • Liaiasing with suppliers and sub contractors so company policy of “Just in time” is maintained, this allows optimum space usage and when plant is brought on site it used efficiently. • Processing of req.’s and communicate with engineers on their requirements. • Inspecting and maintaining millions of pounds worth of plant on site, ensuring it is fit for purpose. • Communicate with suppliers to ensure correct specifications of items, where I negotiate rates and confirm dates of delivery as well as transportation. • I monitor all plant, both Non-Operated and Operated Plant, maintaining registers for both Plants separately. • I call engineers/fitters to repair plant. This is then recorded in a Quarantine Log. If engineers cannot call out to site I organise items to be either replaced or delivered back in order to be repaired. • I organise weekly checks to ensure the plant remains running and preventing disruptions. • I off hire plant and organise the collection. • Processing of invoices and settling queries with suppliers. • Settling of lost and damage issues and negotiate lower charges. • Liaise with local government in order to maintain site compliance with NRMM rules. • I complete weekly KPI meetings in order to use results to substantially lower costs. Future projects include the installation of a Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) technology In order to properly maintain records, I researched the technology that will allow for more accurate monitoring, record keeping of all plant. This system was not being used in any of the three companies of the joint venture. I researched the technology to see if it had applicable uses in the industry, contacted suppliers, conducted meetings and interviews in order to determine the best supplier for the project.
