Implemented and audited to ISO 45001. Instilled a culture of safety ownership by all operational departments. Built a safety team ready to support, not police. Developed a local recruitment program taking directly from the local community and developed a growth plan up to department manager level, with over 75% of the rescue team recruited from the local community up to supervisor level and 50% of the overall safety team. Designed and managed the construction of an external road improvement, previously known to be a fatality hotspot. Authored 2 cultural safety training campaign materials designed to be received by all employees, building a culture of THINK. Digitized safety data and transitioned the department to use Power BI to build proactive dashboards to support ownership in departments. Migrated safety data to a dynamic platform more capable of capturing deeper and more specific data tailored to site needs, forming a base to start exploring machine learning and predictive modelling. Implemented an industrial theatre bringing the safety message to the workplace in short, fun interventions. Supported regional team development in Argentina and Peru.
