Supported the Axiata procurement transformation initiative with the responsibility to develop process and governance frameworks as Axiata established a Group Procurement function called Axiata Procurement Centre (APC). APC was established to leverage spend across the Axiata Group operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal in major categories of Network and IT. - Responsible for development and implementation of: - Group Procurement policies and procedures - eProcurement tools across Axiata Group - Procurement competency development - Leadership of procurement operations at Axiata Corporate Centre - Development of organizational strategy for the Group Procurement function
Returned to DiGi to lead the Procurement Performance Excellence function responsible for driving Procurement transformation programs and upskilling, developing policies and procedures and conducting sourcing audits.
Seconded for a 1-year international assignment to Kolkata, India to set up the procurement and supply chain function for Kolkata, West Bengal and Orissa supporting the commercial start-up of Telenor’s operations in India. - Established the procurement and logistics team – developing the organization structure and hiring the team resources - Set up warehouse and logistics catering for distribution of SIM cards, recharge vouchers, marketing promotional material and IT equipment - Developed and implemented a formal procurement and supply chain/logistics policy and processes in alignment with guidelines provided by the Head Office. - Supported the Head Office to establish an end-to-end procurement / logistics process guideline to be implemented pan-India.
