Employed to provide trials supervision and UAS operations support for a prototype Weather-Unmanned Aerial System (WxUAS) known as MetSprite, designed for atmospheric research and advanced weather forecasting data collection. Responsible for flight planning, operational oversight, and safe deployment of the platform during trial phases. In addition to UAS duties, I acted as a consultant for the company’s logistics operations, coordinating the movement of critical parts and equipment across multiple campaigns and research projects.
I supported and coordinated daily flight operations for APEM Ltd’s aerial survey campaigns, focused on marine and land-based wildlife data collection . I worked closely with an operations team, aircrew and sensor operators to ensure mission readiness, aircraft availability, and compliance with regulatory standards across various UK locations.
