Managed all other functions of compliance, governance, health and safety, business group’s line management, staff development across multiple sites and talent recognition. Delivered resource management across 5 multi site QinetiQ groups comprising of multi-skilled engineers and introduced a new system that recorded resource requirements on to a database to analyse, manage and monitor project delivery and ensure project managers and teams clearly understood project expectations and requirements on a regular basis.
Worked within the Energy and Materials division for a period of 6 months. Main responsibility was for the delivery of the division’s primary investment programme to transfer technology into products, which led to successful international product sales in the defence sector and generated significant returns on investment, including a further £4.5m external contract award to further develop the associated technologies. Formulated a business strategy for penetrating a major OEM in the UK defence, aero and energy sectors.
