GTM for the Cloud technology domain (mission management, safe operation, tele-operation and vehicle data) within Volvo Autonomous Solutions. My main tasks are to set the direction, lead, coach, build and develop the technology area and the team towards excellence and to deliver on our objectives and support cross functionally.
I was given the opportunity to lead and build a new technology area and a new team, the area transport mission and route management (mission management and route management on/off board, safe operation and teleoperation), My main tasks have been to define the technology area, create the strategy and DoE, scouting the market, establish partnership, build up a team with corresponding competencies and secure development.
In this position I was responsible to drive the commercial offerings within the distribution segment in EMEA region. This included to challenge and support the markets and sales regions in EMEA to reach market share and profitability targets given and establish the strategies for the segment. We developed a new life cycle earnings model and rolled it out successfully to the markets. I was part of the management team and lead a cross-functional team with members from the different markets and competence areas. This position involved frequent international travelling
I developed the product plan for on road and off road applications for FH and FM trucks and carried out the product program for trucks sales within the international markets. I promoted the complete offering through collaboration with marketing, business solutions, after sales, competence development and the sales areas. I also developed sales packages and promoted them to the markets. I supported the roll out of pricelists in the sales areas and out to dealers. I frequently visited customers and received feedback on our products and solutions in order to improve our product offering. I lead the development of the sales process and sales manual for the International fleet sales team. This position involved frequent international travelling
As a senior buyer and segment leader I was responsible to procure and quality assure parts to the Volvo Group truck brands. I procured the mirror systems, roof hatches, noise shields and surface materials globally for all the truck brands. I lead all the negotiations with the global suppliers. I successfully exceeded deliveries on all KPI:s included cost savings, quality assurance, strategies and deliveries in time. I established global purchasing agreements and strategies. I was leading global sourcing programs. I supported suppliers in bankruptcy and secured continued deliveries to Volvo. I successfully supported Borgstena supplier which production facility was burnt down over night and secured continued deliveries to Volvo. This position involved frequent international travelling.
