About

Per is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of international experience in infrastructure and industrial engineering. His career spans all professional levels, from junior engineer to board member in a multinational corporation, reflecting deep strategic and operational expertise. He has led major projects across LNG, GTL, petrochemical, biodiesel, ethanol, and Concentrated Solar Power as well as power generation. Notable achievements include the successful delivery of a petrochemical plant and an LNG Floating Storage Regasification Unit terminal in Indonesia. Currently, Per focuses on renewable energy and the transformation of the global energy system, with a strong emphasis on energy storage technologies. His work includes battery energy storage systems, high-temperature thermal storage, sector coupling, and cavern storage solutions such as hydrogen storage. He is actively involved in the delivery and implementation of these systems. Per is known for his ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results on time and within budget. His international career includes long-term assignments across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and a PhD in interdisciplinary studies combining business, chemical engineering, and nutrition technology.
