I’ve built my career alongside the rise of modern AI - starting in the early days at Meta, then growing an AI robotics startup that was later acquired by Amazon in 2024. What drives me isn’t chasing super intelligence / rocket science, but applying real tech to real problems. I’m deeply curious about how AI can transform complex industries like healthcare - where the impact is tangible and the challenges are messy, human, and worth solving.
At Ventus, we’re building an AI workforce for revenue cycle management that operates inside the systems healthcare organizations already use. Instead of adding another dashboard, our AI teammates handle the manual work across eligibility, claims, denials, AR follow-up, payment posting, patient billing, and call center operations. Today, Ventus supports 400+ healthcare practices across dental, dermatology, primary care, and specialty groups, helping them reduce revenue leakage, lower labor costs, and improve collections.
XDOF is an infrastructure startup backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Thrive Capital, with over $70 million in funding. I was fortunate to be one of its earliest angel investors from day one.

I lead a team of ~50 - it consists of SW / HW / ML engineers, project managers as well as other support functions (such as Supply Chain) in Shenzhen. We are working closely with other oversea teams, we design, implement, manufacture and deliver Covariant's "Direct" solutions.
I lead the Software Engineering org and (previously) the Hardware R&D team. * The teams I manage build crucial SW infrastructure that brings cutting-edge AI research into production (such as high-performance inference, data infra, testing & release, etc). Support the development of the proprietary vision & sensor suites. * Hired the entire Software and Hardware Engineering teams. Recruited ~20 people in less than 2 years and created the hiring pipelines from scratch. * Closely involved in strategic planning & roadmapping of the company, as well as the detailed technical execution (design reviews, code reviews and hands-on contribution). * Joined Covariant.ai at its seed stage in late 2018. Full-stack tech lead on multiple initiatives/projects. 1. Machine Learning at Instagram. Built one of the two major user recommendation systems from scratch. 2. Mobile Performance at Facebook. Led a team to build a standalone mobile app for low-bandwidth internet. 3. Business Presence at Instagram.
Early member on Instagram Engineering team. We built data infrastructure and Machine Learning systems that power all user recommendation and media ranking.
