Roland specialises in international, European and Dutch pension and life insurance law, including tax. Furthermore he specialises in investment management and regulatory issues for the pension sector. He is one of the leading experts in his area. Roland has extensive experience in his field for 31 years as a manager, consultant, attorney at law and as a member of the supervisory board of pension funds. Roland is a professional, creative and hands-on trustworthy advisor. His clients include pension funds, pension administration companies, investment managers, insurance companies and large corporations. Roland publishes regularly in his area of law and is an active member of a number of Dutch and international professional associations. Apart from that, he regularly acts as a visiting lecturer at universities and seminars. Roland graduated as a tax lawyer and economist at the University of Amsterdam in 1992. In 2004 he obtained his doctorate at the Rotterdam Erasmus University and in 2016 he graduated as a professional executive board member for pension funds. He was admitted to the bar in the Netherlands in 2011.
