Strategic advisor to UNN, Brunei's sovereign telecommunications and cloud provider, on the expansion and modernisation of its managed IT services portfolio: colocation, cloud infrastructure and value-added services. – Delivered capability maturity assessment benchmarking UNN's platform against regional and global cloud service providers, covering six revenue verticals: Government and Public Sector, Oil and Gas, Banking and Finance, Telecommunications, SME and Other Enterprises. – Built a multi-scenario TCO, IRR and ROI business case underpinning a multi-year infrastructure modernisation roadmap, including hardware repurposing and combined-case investment scenarios. – Authored the executive Recommendations and Roadmap deliverable, presented to the CDO and steering committee.

Designed a Nutanix-based Software-Defined Data Centre (SDDC) reference architecture for deployment across multiple global colocation sites. – Integrated the SDDC design with the existing VMware estate, BGP/EVPN underlay fabric and Terraform-driven provisioning to maximise resilience, scalability and operational efficiency. – Applied Zero Trust Architecture principles to colocation access design, enforcing identity-aware segmentation between tenants and services. Authored multi-service network standards (wired, wireless and IoT) for NEOM's Cognitive Cities programme – one of the world's largest active giga-projects, backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. – Created reference blueprints embedding sustainability and user experience goals into the architectural foundation, suitable for replication across smart city deployments. – Integrated Wi-Fi 6E/7, edge networking, IoT and Zero Trust Network Architecture into a coherent interoperability framework for evolving smart city environments. – Aligned network standards with industrial design and automation frameworks to ensure operational scalability and future-readiness.
Repositioned Networks as an actively contributing partner to the wider infrastructure community; enabling DevOps teams to self-service network environments non-interactively and within ITIL compliance. – Designed and led implementation of a global Palo Alto first-layer firewall and VPN platform, orchestrated through Panorama. – Led cross-team resolution of long-standing IT issues post data centre migration, directing root-cause analysis across multiple divisions. Outcome: reduced application response times and a passing Disaster Recovery test. – Created a combined Data Centre and Multi-Cloud networking vision aligning network strategy with the wider infrastructure programme. – Prepared IPv6 implementation plan addressing application compatibility issues in developing markets and global cloud networks. – Designed a Nutanix proof of concept as the VMware migration pathway. – Collaborated with peer Enterprise Architects on technology innovation reviews informing senior management budget direction.
