During my internship at LANXESS, I undertook a project to enhance the operational efficiency of the fiberglass warehouse. My primary responsibility was to re-organize the warehouse structure and develop a new, more efficient packing system. This involved analyzing the current layout, identifying inefficiencies, and designing an optimized storage arrangement to maximize space utilization and streamline workflow. Additionally, I devised a packing system that reduced material handling time and minimized the risk of damage during transportation. The implementation of these changes resulted in a more organized warehouse, improved productivity, and cost savings for the company.
