I started my career journey in the world of Biomedical Technology by completing my BTech degree at Tshwane University of Technology. During this time, I had the privilege of gaining hands-on experience as an Intern medical technologist at Lancet Laboratories. I witnessed the inner workings of a laboratory—an experience that would prove invaluable in shaping my career. Upon completing my B tech, I assumed the role of Biosciences Sales Coordinator at The Scientific Group, an opportunity that not only enhanced my personal growth but also equipped me with the skills needed for advancement within the company a few years later. I was subsequently promoted to Regional Sales Manager, overseeing operations across SADC & East Africa. In this role, I managed a team of key account managers and sales specialists, offering training, knowledge transfer, and support while structuring corporate offers for our clients. This position allowed me to travel extensively throughout Africa, fostering connections with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. My journey took an exciting turn when I completed a Management course from Mind The Gap during my tenure as Regional Sales Manager. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for business development and growth. I became captivated by the psychology behind the sales process and the science of business expansion, traits that have become integral to my professional identity. I am known for my unwavering dedication, positive attitude, and eagerness to tackle challenges head-on, consistently striving for excellence. I enjoy my time as the Head of Sales Manager and Marketing at Biocom Africa (Pty) Ltd, where I oversea our sales and marketing operations in the region. My journey has been marked by a commitment to leadership, effective sales management, budgeting, forecasting, and delivering exceptional customer service. I am passionate about driving growth and fostering strategic relationships across Southern Africa. As I continue to learn and grow, I look forward to exploring new opportunities, expanding my network, and contributing to the ever-evolving landscape of sales and business development. Looking ahead, I am excited to continue my personal development journey by learning to converse in Zulu and pursuing a Master's in Business Administration or Leadership in years to follow.
